Last updated: 4 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data POMPOM Space ("POMPOM", "we", "us") collects through pompom.space, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. POMPOM Space is the data controller for this website and can be reached at yanie.d@pompom.space.

What we collect

Newsletter data: the email address you submit, plus the signup source (footer or popup) and the date of signup.

Contact data: your name, email address and anything you choose to write to us when you email us or send us a project brief.

Technical data: standard server and hosting logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, generated automatically when you visit the site. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

Newsletter emails are used only to send the POMPOM newsletter. Where double opt-in is active you receive a confirmation email first and are added only once you confirm. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Contact details are used to answer your enquiry and to discuss a possible project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the steps taken before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Technical logs are used to keep the site secure and available. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who processes your data

Newsletter delivery and subscriber storage are handled by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). Website hosting and delivery are handled by our hosting providers. These providers act as processors on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We never sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which your address may be retained on a suppression list so we do not email you again. Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, or longer where a contract or legal obligation requires it. Technical logs are kept for a short retention period set by our hosting providers.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

To exercise any of these rights, email yanie.d@pompom.space. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
